Hello there! SIKE. I ain’t leaving. I just wanted you to read this. LOL. But this is a goodbye to something. Well folks, we have reached the end of the first Loverboy chapter. Don’t worry, there are MANY more chapters to come for this long era ahead. I haven’t just been partying and fucking around over the last 2 months. Loverboy Lucian has been hard at work prepping for what is next. Some of ya’ll are wondering what does the end of a chapter mean for Loverboy? I’m glad you asked. It’s the end of the first single run for this album. By that I mean, our promo single, “Finally Me”, and the first single, “Aim For The Heart”. The last 6 months with these 2 songs at the forefront have been a blessing. I ended the “Roy” album era a year ago, but I feel like reminisces of that era carried on over to the start of Loverboy Lucian. Underlining all of the things released during January-July was this sweet innocent image, and while that is apart of who I am, this album is way more complex than that. It wasn’t until my Aim For The Heart music video costar, Misha, showed me that this era can thrive if taken down a different route. I am grateful he shot that arrow away from the yellow brick road and onto a new pink one for me to follow. When saying goodbye to what I’ve known, it meant a complete shake up behind the scenes. I was so torn over how to level up myself after already doing so. Let’s be for real , when January 2024 started and the “Finally Me” horns soared through our ears, we all already knew, something DIFFERENT is coming. I feel like with Finally Me and Heart, it was just teasing the potential within me. As I made that choice to move on from what I’ve known, it doesn’t mean I’ll forget how we started this ride 4 years ago. I’m very lucky to have Ben and my Loverboys be a constant guide for me as we venture out into new worlds. When we shot heart, I knew that would be the last time I wanted to present this certain image of myself. Moving onto our next single, it’s VASTLY different from anything I’ve ever done. And in this meta way, I’m finally me within the visuals of this said song. Like I’ve never felt more at home on camera and within my voice; sexy, and free. With that said, I could not have gotten to this point where I level up without my former casts, small crews, and of course, Ant Rojas.

Aim for the heart, what joy you’ve been for me. I just love love love this song. And I loved this single run. I have had a blast. And I’m looking forward to continue singing this BOP live. This song has and continues to bring me so much joy. And although I won’t be talking about it as often anymore, it doesn’t take my love and pride away from it. It continues to perform well, btw. So thanks for that. I hope its beating heart will continue to beat as we FINALLY move onto what’s next. I’ve always envisioned this era as a constant evolving period within my life. And that’s exactly what we’re doing, and what has been happening. I look forward to sharing what is next with you…. NEXT TUESDAY. AUGUST 27. 9AM PST.
